DÍA DE CANARIAS

Hello children!

YEAR 5. Arts & Crafts. Recycled toys!

Hello children from Year 5!

We are creating our wonderful 1940's car,  it is a toy made of recycled material (cardboard boxes and silicone).  You're working very hard but that is good because at the end you will have a beautiful car that you can show your family.

We almost finish but we have more cardboard toys to make!!  Are you ready for the plane?  Do you dare?  ;)

ARTS & CRAFTS. YEAR 5 AND YEAR 6. MANUALIDAD DÍA DE CANARIAS

Estimadas familias,

Muchas gracias.

Atentamente,

Teacher Sara

Arts & Craft. Unit 4. "The Beauty and the Beast" scenery design.

Hello Year 5 and Year 6 students,

The new unit is related to "The Beauty and the Beast" stage decorations and scenery design.   I made these designs so you can see them, and you can work with them at home if you want to.

I decided you started building up some 3D models so you have a general idea about what modelling is, because we will work with 3D stage designs.

In case you want to print it out :) here is the design (Beetle car)  I decided to use with Year 5 and Year 6 in the first session.

I also used this model (cow) with Year 3 and Year 4, and they loved it, you can print it, color it, cut it, fold it and glue it.  Enjoy yourself!

Arts & Crafts. The changeable town.

Hello Year 5 and Year 6 students,

First the Autumn Town arrived at Acaymo's and we were happy by paiting and modelling.

Then Christmas arrived, and Christmas brought Winter time with loads of imaginary snow...

Then, when February arrived, it brought Carnivals... so all the people came out of the houses and walked throught the streets dressed with really wonderful costumes, and also we had some floats...

Banksy... el misterioso artista

Hello Year 5!

ARTS & CRAFTS. YEAR 5 & YEAR 6: AUTUMN UNIT

What are we doing in Arts & Crafts?

YEAR 5

We are still working in our St. Andrew's sleds, we will have them ready for next Friday's party which we will call "La fiesta de la castaña".

At the moment, we cut its seat, we glued it, we painted it and it is almost finished.  We will post some photos very soon!

YEAR 6

We are creating a big Autumn tree for the school. The inside of our tree is made of recycled elements such as small, medium and big empty bottles of water.  The outside of the tree is made of kraft paper, and we will paint it with tempera as soon as we finish.  Here you can see a photo of our recycled tree from far... We will post good quality photos of the creative process very soon!!

ARTS & CRAFTS: HALLOWEEN DECORATION AND GAMES

Hey students from Year 5 & Year 6!

This year, Halloween's party 2015 was amazing.  Thank you for your participation.  I hope you enjoyed it a lot!.  Your work in Arts & Crafts classes was very important, and thanks to your effort you made very nice wall designs, "The haunted house" and "The creepy cemetery" and games with those great monsters for "The creepy bowling alley", as well as the questions with the flashcards for "The creepy contest".  No words to express my feelings, just shout out loud... YOU ARE THE BEST!  ;)

I show you below some photos of the Halloween's party so you can check all the details.

I also want to thank you for your participation with "The Haunted house", it was soooooo complicate to choose only two winners per class... but well, all participants have 10 more points for Arts & Crafts evaluation ;)
